Kelm earns Eagle Scout award

Benjamin Kelm, 17, of Shawnee, received his Boy Scout Eagle rank during the Court of Honor on March 22nd. He has been in scouting since the first grade and achieved his Eagle Rank in December 2013. Benjamin’s project developed from seeing a need for two outside benches at his church. He organized and constructed two benches for his project.
Benjamin is a Junior at Mill Valley High School. His parents are Bruce and Mary Kay Kelm. Grandparents are August and Vada Freund of Great Bend.
