Panthers swept by Hoisington in road twinbill

HOISINGTON — The Great Bend High School baseball team got swept by Hoisington on the road on Thursday evening.
The Panthers fell 7-4 in the lidlifter and 4-1 in Game 2.
Hits were in short supply for Great Bend in both games.
“Our approach at the plate just wasn’t all that good,” GBHS head coach Randy Beck said. “That lack of production at the plate make it real hard to win games even with good pitching, which we’ve had. If you don’t score runs, you can win games.”
