Humane Society investigates cruelty to animals report

At 3:56 p.m. Friday, the Golden Belt Humane Society picked up a dog that was reportedly with no water or shelter, from a residence at 305 Maple St. A notice to appear in municipal court for alleged cruelty to animals was signed but not served.
In reference to the same case, a Great Bend Police officer assisted with removing animals from the residence at 3:38 p.m. Saturday.
