James E. “Budjoe” Detherage 1936 - 2014

James E. “Budjoe” Detherage, 77, died April 26 at home in Great Bend. He was born Nov. 2, 1936, at Altus, Ark., to Coyle and Daisy (Covert) Detherage. James married Arletta Mohr on Oct. 10, 1957, at Larned. She survives. A truck driver for Rainbow Trucking, until his retirement, Mr. Detherage was a long time Great Bend resident, formerly residing in Radium.
He was of the Southern Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Jim Detherage of Russellville, Ark., and  Brad Detherage and his wife Trina of Great Bend; one daughter, Karen Petty and her husband ...
