Fire started in pickup

Editor's note: This story was updated on May 6 to clarify the victim's relationship with his ex-wife. She was at his house but does not live there.

Great Bend police are investigating a case of arson that occurred Sunday night, when someone broke out the window of a pickup and placed something burning inside.
Steve Barnard contacted authorities at 9 p.m., saying his Dodge pickup was on fire at 2607 Forest Ave.
Great Bend Fire Chief Mike Napolitano said the damage was contained inside the pickup and is estimated to be over $5,000.
