Crime Stoppers boosts effort to find information on Rhiannon Young death

Nearly 6 months after the death of Rhiannon Marie Young, the police investigation seemed to have stalled. Now Crime Stoppers of Great Bend-Barton County is trying something new — reaching out to the public with posts on social media.
“We may spread our horizon through social media,” Crime Stoppers secretary/treasurer JP Postlethwaite told the board of directors on Tuesday. The Great Bend Police Department and Barton County Sheriff’s Office have both posted items on their Facebook pages, in hopes of generating new leads, he said.
