Lady Cougars sit in 11th place at national tourney


DAYTON BEACH, Fla. — The NJCAA Region VI Champion Barton Community College women’s golf team began play Monday at the NJCAA Women’s Golf National Championship held at the LPGA International Golf Club in Daytona Beach, Florida.  
The Lady Cougars are in 11th place after Day 1 with a 69 over par 357 with three remaining days of competition.  
Freshman Natthakan Teeratrakul leads Barton tied for 14th overall, firing an 80 after closing the back nine with a 38.
