Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Tuesday. There were no fires.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Second St. over the noon hour on Tuesday. Richard Buess was arrested for assault on a law enforcement officer and obstruction, and booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bond.
A newspaper rack at 5200 10th St. was damaged and money was taken, it was reported Tuesday.
A burglary was reported at L and L Training and Consultation, 1901 Washington Ave. Two laptop computers and routers and $400 ...
