BCC shines at NJCAA golf tourney


DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Inclement weather wasn’t going to damper the celebration of the Barton Community College women’s golf team Thursday at the NJCAA Women’s Golf National Championship as the Lady Cougars made school history with a ninth place national finish.
With rain moving through the area the final round of the championships held at the LPGA International Golf Club forced the tournament to finalize after three rounds of play.
