Great Bend’s Harris goes 1-2 at Class 5A State Tournament

TOPEKA — Great Bend High School’s singles player Grant Harris had his ups and downs in his three matches at the Class 5A State Tennis Tournament.
Harris lost his first match, 7-5, 7-5, but rallied to win his second, 9-3, on Friday.
He was slated to play a third on Friday, but rain postponed the match to Saturday.
Competing for a chance to play out the consolation bracket and finish in the top 12, Harris fell 9-2.
