Eloy leads Cougars at national tourney


BURLINGTON, Iowa — The Barton Community College men’s golf team finished 21st at the NJCAA Division-I Men’s National Championship held at Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa, this week.
Reaching the national championships for the first time since 2006, the Cougars shot a combined team score of 39 over par 327 on the final day to finish the four-day tournament at 1,311.
Sophomore Jeremie Eloy capped off his Barton career, finishing with a three over par 75 to finish 14th in the individual placings to earn All-American honors.
