Deines Center opens landscape exhibition

RUSSELL — A new exhibition at the Deines Cultural Center in Russell explores the role of the landscape in contemporary art. The “Finding Balance” exhibition will be shown at the Center, located at 820 Main Street, from Friday, May 23, through July 10. This exhibition was curated by Fort Hays State University Professor of Painting Joel T. Dugan, who selected works from 15 renowned artists from around the country.
The opening reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
