Panthers come up short against Liberal

WICHITA — The Great Bend High School baseball team’s offense came up anemic in a Class 5A regional semifinal game against Liberal.
The Panthers struggled to get runners around, falling 7-1.
“I think that lately, if we’ve been hitting the ball well, we’ve been competing,” GBHS head coach Randy Beck said. “We did not do that today.
“They had a lot of two-out hits that helped them score runs. I have to give them credit.”
