Barton, Rice, McPherson counties under flood warnings


WICHITA — The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued flood warnings for Barton, Rice and McPherson counties Thursday morning.
The flood warning for Barton County was issued at 4:25 a.m. Thursday until 9:30 a.m..
At 4:23 a.m. National Weather Service doppler radar estimated between 2 to 3 inches of rain have fallen across southern Barton County with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches possible across the county.
