2 men killed in airplane accident

Two people died after a plane crashed near Great Bend at 11:33 a.m. Sunday morning, according to Kansas Highway Patrol Master Trooper James Robinson.
The FAA said the plane was a 1997 plane that crashed in  field near Great Bend. A 49-year-old Roger Brining from Great Bend and a 24-year-old Daniel Bishop from Clearfield, Utah died at the scene. Both were occupants of the aircraft.
The crash happened near the intersection of NW 40 Rd and NW 30 Ave in Barton County in a corn stubble field.
