Milton H. Hiebert 1924 - 2014

LARNED  — Milton H. Hiebert, 89, passed away July 1 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned.
He was born Sept. 2, 1924 in Tampa, Kan.,  the son of Abraham Peter and Wilhelmina (Minnie) Kohlman Hiebert.  A longtime area resident; he was a farmer and rancher.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fort Larned Lions Club and Farm Bureau; all of Larned; he served in WWII in the Pacific Theatre.  He was a Grange member, went on the Honor Flight in 2009, received the soil conservation award in 1963, and also received the Melvin Jones fellowship award ...
