Firefighters made eight ambulance runs on Monday. There was one false alarm, but no fires.

On Monday morning, Great Bend residents discovered someone had entered their vehicles and taken wallets at 1301 Harding St. and 911 Grant St.
An injury accident was reported at 1 p.m. A vehicle driven by Vanessa Lewis was westbound in the 700 block of 10th St. and reportedly rear-ended a vehicle driven by Michael Bowles, who was stopped in traffic.
