Cecil Merle Rose 1932 - 2014

LARNED — Cecil Merle Rose, 82, passed away July 3 at his home in Larned. Born May 5, 1932, in Haviland, he was the son of William and Elisa Smith Rose. A lifetime area resident, he was a retired foreman for the Pawnee County Road Department.
Mr. Rose served in the United States Army. He was of the Christian faith. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Larned.
Survivors include a son, Randy Rose of Larned; a daughter, Sherri Woods of Larned; a brother, Irvin of Denver, Colo.; five sisters, Lucile Yohn ...
