Teen Food Fight part of summer library program

The “Spark a Reaction” teen summer program at the Great Bend Public Library continues this month. The following “teen” events are intended for students in grades 7-12.
Teens can make rock candy at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8.
The fourth and final program in the STEM series will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 10. According to Young Adult Librarian Jennifer King, STEM (science, technology, electronics and mathematics) is sponsored by the Girl Scouts and open to boys and girls.
