LARNED — The Larned American Legion baseball team trailed Russell 6-0.
No problem.
Larned stormed back from the six-run deficit for an 11-6 victory over Russell that clinched a berth in the Class AA American Legion State Baseball Tournament. Larned qualifies for the Class AA State Tournament at Wathena July 30-Aug. 3.
Larned (13-14) won four consecutive games in the Zone 2 Tournament at Moffet Stadium.
