Firefighters made three ambulance runs last Thursday, six Friday, 10 Saturday and four Sunday.
At 8:15 p.m. Thursday the department responded to the 400 block of Almond St. after a vehicle struck a gas meter. There was no leak, but the gas company was contacted.
At 9:36 a.m. Friday there was a false alarm at the Washington Early Education Center, 2525 Lakin Ave. Someone had pulled the alarm in a locker room; there was no fire. Firefighters also cleaned up a small gasoline spill at 3:20 p.m. Friday at Love ...
