Dear Editor, It is my opinion that we need to bring up the issue of children’s safety in winter weather. The school system is failing to consider the safety of our children in inclement weather. I called the USD 428 office on Wednesday at around noon to ask if the schools were going to close early since the police were saying to not drive unless needed, and the receptionist told me no and I quote: ...
