Dear Editor,
I have known Dean Akings for over 30 years. He has been very involved in the community service arena as Chief of Police. He has volunteered countless hours to projects that benefit our community, especially the youth. He has always demonstrated the ability to try and better this community. He understands the different communities in the area and would look to meet their needs without prejudice.
