Hoisington businesses see fake $10 bills

HOISINGTON — There was an attempt two weeks ago to pass two fake ten dollar bills in Hoisington Police Chief Kenton Doze reports, at two separate businesses.
“They left,” before they could receive change, said Doze.
Both cases were passed on to the Secret Service in Wichita.
One attempt was at the Hoisington Dairy Queen. The bills were not the right size or texture, the owner said. The other attempt was at Cervs.
