Cauble wins seat, Wilson to continue work with Governor

Sally Cauble, Liberal, will remain in her seat as the Dist. 5 chairperson of the Kansas State Board of Education following the election Tuesday, Aug. 5.  
“I look forward to finishing the turnaround model the state has been working on, moving out of No Child Left Behind and into a growth model,” she said Wednesday morning.
Cauble will work to better communication with the public about what is going on in education statewide, she said.  
Her opponent, Meg Wilson, principal of Hoisington High School, received overwhelming support in Barton County, with 83 percent of the vote in her favor.
