Officers find suspected meth, stolen gun

Six drug arrests made by BCSO, GBPD

Search warrants executed Tuesday evening in Great Bend yielded suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, and a stolen gun was recovered during a related traffic stop. A total of six people were arrested.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office and Great Bend Police Department both executed search warrants for controlled substances around 6 p.m. The GBPD entered 2421 Sixth St. around the same time the BCSO was searching 520 Odell St.
The Kansas Highway Patrol and Great Bend Fire Department also assisted.
