Shotgun round fired into residence

The Great Bend Police Department is investigating a shotgun round fired through the front door of the residence at 2525 11th St. The incident was reported at 6:14 a.m. Thursday.
Sgt. J. Bachar said the resident was inside at the time but was not injured. The shot was fired by an unknown person.
Another individual in the same block reported hearing two shots fired in the area at 3:26 a.m.
Anyone who has information regarding this incident is asked to contact the GBPD by calling 793-4120, or call Crime Stoppers, 792-1300, to leave an anonymous tip.
