Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

Police report they were checking on Shawn McCollum at 10:53 a.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Madison St. and he ran from officers. He was arrested Walnut Drive on an outstanding municipal warrant and also charged with obstruction.
The K-9 unit was called to the 1200 block of Third St. following a traffic stop at 11:05 a.m. Kyla Robertson, Great Bend, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia ...
