Lady Panthers open season at Hays

HAYS — The Great Bend High School girls’ golf team opened the season on Tuesday, competing at a Hays tournament.
The Lady Panthers combined to finish in fifth place at the tournament.
Senior Hannah Mauler and sophomore Allison Neeland tied for the best score out of Great Bend’s six golfers.
Both finished with 55 strokes.
Maddie Vesta was right behind them with 56 strokes.
Taylor Mohr carded a 58, Michaela Cape hit a 59 and Kacee Kasselman finished at 60.
