AG announces grants for Great Bend organization

TOPEKA – Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt today announced that the Family Crisis Center in Great Bend has been awarded grants totaling $89,781 for its victims’ service programs.
The grants awarded will fund the following projects:
•  $25,000 to provide forensic interviews and advocacy services in a child friendly setting for victims of child abuse and their non-offending caregivers. This grant funds 50% of the family advocate position.
