Fall to be hopping in Great Bend

Several activities planned for community

There is a lot in Great Bend in the coming months, according to information from Community Coordinator Christina Hayes presented to the City Council Wednesday night.
Hayes is working with retail stores to create a Panther Pride Week to stay connected to the Great Bend High School Homecoming, which is set for Friday, Sept. 26. Stores included will give some sort of discount to those wearing the school colors red and black during the week of Homecoming.
Her staff will also go out and paint Panthers on the windows to help bring the community into school spirit as well.
