GBHS returns strong core for boys', girls' cross-country

The Great Bend High School boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams have been working in the heat to prepare for the 2014 season.
“So far, we’ve gotten through the heat,” Kaiser said. “We’ve got a good group of kids out. We have 14 girls and 13 boys now.
“So far, we’re going to be on the rebuilding side on both teams. Both teams have a chance to be competitive once we get to the end and the ultimate goal is to try to get both teams qualified for the state meet.”
