Hay bales cause pile-up on K-96


Four vehicles were involved in an accident that occurred when a pickup lost its load of hay bales at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday on K-96, about 1.5 miles west of Yoder in Reno County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol online crash logs, Brady Scott Allen Mayfield, 20, of Cambridge was driving the Dodge pickup. The hay bales were struck by a Ford passenger car driven by Robert Matthew Evans, 22, Hutchinson; a Chevrolet passenger car driven by Jerry W.
