WINNSBORO, Texas — Mrs. Johnna Stewart Hughes was born on Jan. 28, 1922, on the family farm in Brumley, near Gilmer, Texas, to John M. and Ida Mauck Stewart. She departed this life on Jan. 26, two days short of her 89th birthday. She and her husband of 52 years, Mr. George W. "Cotton" Hughes, were married on June 13, 1945, near Pittsburg, Texas.
