Voter registration is open until Feb. 14

There are still a few days left for those who want to vote in the coming local election to register to vote, according to information from County Clerk Donna Zimmerman.
Anyone who needs to register has until 5 p.m., or the close of business, on Feb. 14, Zimmerman reported.
According to information from the Kansas Secretary of State’s Office, in order for someone to vote in a Kansas election, they must:
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Be a United States citizen.
• Be a resident of Kansas.
