Dear Editor, Labor Day was not be the same for many this year without the White Line Fever Run from Great Bend to Hoisington. After 32 years, Barton County Community College cancelled the event because a former participant threatened to sue if the race was not moved from the east shoulder of Highway 281, where it has been run, as far as I know, without incident in the past, to the west shoulder.
