Sheriff Greg Armstrong announced that the Barton County Sheriff’s Office will be taking over the VIN program again, as noted in Tuesday’s Great Bend Tribune. The sheriff’s office will resume the service of checking Vehicle Identification Numbers next Tuesday, Feb. 22, with the hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and 1-5 p.m. on Thursdays.
