‘Merchants of Doubt’ to be aired Feb. 27

LARNED — The Grass Roots Environmental Advocacy Team (GREAT) begins a series of monthly free public showings of environmental documentaries this Saturday with “Merchants of Doubt.”
“Merchants of Doubt” will be shown at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Jordaan Memorial Library in Larned.
This 93-minute film reveals the trickery used by the fossil fuels industry to deny the links between burning fossil fuels and climate change, sponsors said. In doing so, it exposes the spy agency style tactics used by the industry to prevent citizens from understanding those links and dangers posed to humanity.
