A 2008 felony drunk driving case against Delbert Leroy Adams Jr. that was dismissed by a Barton County District Judge is back in the court system, following a ruling by the Kansas Court of Appeals. Fire burns garage, 1946 Dodge

A 1946 Dodge was a casualty of an early morning fire in a detached garage at 4612 Railroad Ave. Great Bend Tribune newspaper carrier Vickie Clawson saw the fire and reported it at 2 a.m. Tuesday. A former Ellinwood High School teacher, now living in Topeka, has been charged in Barton County District Court with two felony counts of electronic sexual solicitation of a minor between the age of 14 and 16 years.
