Great Bend Fire Chief Mike Napolitano said a cigarette is the suspected cause of a small grass fire reported Sunday morning at 2545 Sunset Place. Firefighters were dispatched at 11:11 a.m. and arrived to find a small area of grass that had burnt near the back door of the residence. The resident said she had put a cigarette out near the back steps.
