Blanche Margaret Pfannenstiel 1916 - 2012

NESS CITY - Blanche Margaret Pfannenstiel, 96, died Nov. 8, at her home in the Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home, Hebron, Neb. She was born Oct. 21, 1916, the daughter of Hugh and Ethel Phleger Corrigan. On May 16, 1985, she married Adolf P. Pfannenstiel in Ness City. He preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1985. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Ness County until she moved to Hebron in 2010.

​JoAnn Cameron 1925 - 2012

JoAnn Cameron, 87, died Nov. 10 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1925, at Tonkawa, Okla., the daughter of William David and Olive DeLyte (McNeil) Rowe. She married Fred Lorn Cameron on Dec. 25, 1943, at Dodge City. He died June 22, 1987. JoAnn was a Great Bend resident since 1962, coming from Ponca City, Okla. She was a Nurse's Aide and lab tech for St. Rose Hospital and CKMC. She also worked for Great Bend Music. She enjoyed playing the organ during the holiday season at JC Penney.

GODDARD - John W. Workman, 75, died Nov. 8 in Wichita. Born Sept. 22, 1937, in Minot, N.D., he was the son of Arthur Workman and Olga Knudtson. A former resident of Great Bend, he was a retired law enforcement officer.
