A Russell man died Tuesday after his truck crossed the center line on a Barton County highway and collided head on with a semi-trailer.

She married Vernon Batchman on Aug. 5, 1944, at Colorado Springs, Colo. He died Jan. 29, 1995. An Ellinwood resident since 1944, she was a homemaker and artist.
