A man was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital on Monday after reporting he'd been hit by a car. Stoney Ryan called 911 at 10:39 p.m., saying he'd been walking in the vicinity of the Great Bend Police Department when a red two-door vehicle struck him and left the area.

Church rummage sale Saturday

The members of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 3400 21st Street, will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
