Clemens acquitted on all charges

WASHINGTON (AP) - Roger Clemens was acquitted Monday on all charges that he obstructed and lied to Congress in denying he used performance-enhancing drugs to extend his long career as one of the greatest and most-decorated pitchers in baseball history.

Ricky Lee Fischer 1948-2012

TULSA, Okla. - Ricky Lee Fischer, 64, died June 17 at Cancer Treatment Center of America at Southwestern Regional Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born March 8, 1948, at Great Bend, he was the son of Edwin and Ruth (Krueger) Fischer. He worked for North American Salt of Lyons and was a truck driver for C and P Electric, Branson, Snell, and Builders Transport.

Bonnie M. Miller 1941-2012

KINSLEY - Bonnie M. Miller, 70, died June 15 at Pratt Hospice House. Born Sept. 23, 1941, in Great Bend she was the daughter of Lawrence E. and Evelyn C. Schauf Jacobs. On Aug. 8, 1959, she married Richard Miller in Dubuque. He died on July 8, 2000. She was a dietary manager.

Minetta M. Carothers 1929-2012

KINSLEY - Minetta M. Carothers, 83, died June 16 at Medicalodge in Kinsley. Born May 29, 1929 ,in Spearville, she was the daughter of William E. and Minnie E. Diehl Berry. On June 22, 1947, she married Lee E. Carothers in Offerle. He died on Jan. 15, 2011. She was employed as a district secretary.
