Vendors sought for downtown market

BCC's Pet Project

Barton Community College's Community Student Organization donated almost $100 cash and various donations they collected on campus including food, blankets, litter and other animal care essentials to the Golden Belt Humane Society. Co-sponsor Shanna Legleiter said the group decided to host this "mini-drive" because several members of the group are animal lovers. "I think animals really just pull on our heart strings," she said.
