The U.S. Coast Guard reports an estimated 85 percent of boating-related drowning could be prevented by the use of life jackets. Nationally, of the children who drowned while boating in 2003, more than 60 percent were not wearing life jackets.
Now that the USD 428 Board of Education has approved the addition of seventh-grade competitive sports, the need for a new gymnasium addition at Great Bend Middle School is more critical than ever. Becoming a Jazzercise instructor requires dedication and thorough training. CLAY CENTER – Almost weekly news stories appear promoting gay rights. Currently 19 states have legalized same sex marriage while 31 states have traditional marriage laws on the books. Additionally, President Obama has issued various executive orders furthering the equality of gays. All this has made the gay issue a topic for public discussion. It is not just a religious, political or social issue anymore. It is regularly in the news and impacting many Americans on some level.
