Crime Stoppers of Barton County and Great Bend is seeking information about the theft of equipment belonging to Classic Well service. Sometime between 6 p.m. on Feb. 18 and 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 21, elevators (used to hoist pipe) for a double drum pulling unit were stolen from a well site in the 5400 block of Second Street in Great Bend. Barton County Sheriff A dog bite case taken by Ellinwood Police Department on Monday was later determined to have happened in the county, at 284 SE 140 Ave. The dog was impounded for no proof of rabies shots.
