American Legion gets into the swing of spring with supper

The Great Bend American Legion Post 180 is celebrating spring and the return of American Legion Baseball with an all you can eat supper from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the post, 1011 Kansas Ave. The cost is $6 they will be serving vegetable beef, ham and beans, potato and chicken and noodles, plus a variety of desserts furnished by the American Legion Auxiliary.

Three die in Ellsworth County collision

Kansas Highway Patrol reports three people died Wednesday following a head-on collision at 1:55 a.m., five miles east of Wilson on Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County. Joseph O.
