Dillons Stores raise money for United Way of Central Kansas

Dyan Suppes of CPI Qualified Plan Consultants, Inc. (CPI) has recently passed all of the required exams to attain her CPC (Certified Pension Consultant) designation through ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries). These exams include the Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF-1 & RPF-2) exams, the Defined Contribution Administrative Issues Basic Concepts (DC-1), Compliance Issues (DC-2), and Advanced Topics (DC-3) exams, the Administrative Issues of Defined Benefit Plans (DB) exam, the Certified Pension Consultant Modules exams, and the Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) exam.

Extension Programs Focus on Health and Wellness

It is fairly common that my educational programs and workshops emphasize a common theme of health and wellness. The annual Walk Kansas program is just around the corner, so it is time to start rounding up your team members for that successful program. Packets are ready for team captains to pick up at our office and the Great Bend Recreation Commission. I also plan to deliver some packets to the recreation commissions in Hoisington and Ellinwood.

Great Bend High School Bowling results

On Thursday, the Great Bend Panthers hosted a triangular with Liberal and Holcomb. In girls action the Lady Panthers dominated the day by winning 10 of the 11 WAC points possible. Senior Addie Soukup was the high bowler for the Lady Panthers as she rolled a top series of 562. Sophomore McKenzy Black finished in 3rd place as she rolled a series of 504.
