ELLINWOOD - Viola Eggers, 82, died Oct. 10 at Ellinwood District Hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1929 at Catherine, the daughter of Ludwig and Julia Leiker Staab. She has been a Barton County resident since 1943, formerly of Ellis County.
ELLINWOOD - Richard (Dick) Elsen, 68, died Oct. 9 at his home in Ellinwood. He was born Nov. 14, 1942 in Colwich, the son of Nicholas Elsen and Emelia Schwartz Elsen. He was an Ellinwood resident for over 45 years and worked in manufacturing at Marlett Coach in Great Bend.
LARNED - Wayne J. Seba, 77, died Sept. 1 in Denver, Colo. He was born on March 8, 1934.
A free Great Bend Recreation Commission program will show that flying model airplanes isn't just for kids, GBRC Program Coordinator Garet Fitzpatrick said.
